The system works around a Konica Minolta bizhub multifunction device along with the manufacturer’s Smart Scanning Workflow Solution. Instead of entering every detail, users simply have to input the few initial digits of an employee ID. Based on the record, the system then allows the operator to immediately choose the document type and automatically rename, convert, and save the file to a folder as a searchable PDF.
More rapid digitization, less labor cost, and fewer mistakes in filing. Even retrieval is much simpler – files are standardized and can be accessed in seconds, whether you are onboarding, offboarding, or checking records on a day-to-day basis.
Not only an HR solution, said Konica Minolta, it can be used in any department where there is a large volume of paper files, and processes can be streamlined for faster digital transformation.
